Honor, Nurture & Empower

Together, we hold space for healing, growth, and connection for those who serve, those we have lost and those who stand by them.

Our Story

Josh’s Boots was founded after the loss of Joshua Tipton, born from love, grief, and a desire to stand beside those navigating similar hardships.

What began as a personal promise grew into a mission rooted in compassion, dignity, and honoring the unseen journeys carried by those who serve and sacrifice.

At its heart, Josh’s Boots exists to support individuals facing the weight of service, transition, and loss, offering connection, understanding, and hope. Through community, outreach, and action.

We work to honor resilience, encourage healing, and extend light to those finding their way forward.

Amanda Braga Tipton

Director, Founder & Josh's Sister

Our founder, Amanda, served five years in the Chaplain Corps. She is the driving force behind our organization’s daily operations and leadership. Through her service, she gained a deep understanding of the sacrifices and responsibilities that come with answering the call to serve.

This organization was born from love and loss, following the passing of her brother, and from a desire to stand beside others navigating their own battles.

Walking Beside Those Who Serve

Josh’s Boots exists to support veterans, first responders, and their families through peer mentorship, mental health advocacy, genuine care, and community driven acts of service. Walking beside those who serve and those who carry the weight of service long after the call ends.

If you feel aligned with our mission, there are many ways to be part of it. Join us at an event, support our work through a donation or merchandise purchase, and stay connected with us on social media.
